Bookmark

  • This was on Ashley's desk.
  • There is a long string of letters on this item.
  • Placing the bookmark over the inscription on the base of the Harold Richards' bobblehead we received in Episode 1, select letters will be revealed. These will be used as the key to deciphering the password to Ashley's OffLine account.
  • Once done, the letters line up as:

    • STRONG NEW LEADERSHIP, UNWAVERING VALUES
    • QENSZO ZKJ AWKXKNQGPB, DZJWRKNPZO RWADKQ

Bowtie

  • Reggie found this in Harold Richards' safety-deposit box.
  • This bowtie was worn by either Lewis or TFC the night of the car crash as depicted in the photograph.

Frannie's Letter

  • Stupid Kim couldn't find another outlet to charge her phone? Sheesh.
  • Once again, we get an encrypted message on the back of Frannie's letter that we will need to save for the final episode.

Mask

  • This is a masquerade mask.

    • It also alludes to the next season of HaK (Royal Street)... 😜
  • Reggie found this in Harold Richards' safety-deposit box.

  • It was worn by either Harold or TFC the night of the car crash as depicted in the photograph.

Photograph

  • Reggie found this in Harold Richards' safety-deposit box.
  • On the back of this photograph is written "Proof".
  • This picture depicts TFC in the driver seat, Lewis in the back with the two women who died, and Harold in the passenger seat.

    • The plot thickens... 🤔

Prison Letter Page 1

  • Reggie found this in Harold Richards' safety-deposit box.
  • This one is written on the back of an origami instruction set.

    • Use the instructions to fold the second letter from Lewis to Harold.

Prison Letter Page 2

  • Reggie found this in Harold Richards' safety-deposit box.
  • Using the origami instructions on the back of the first letter from Lewis to Harold, folding the paper the correct way will reveal a hidden message.

    • Most of us probably used this folding method to play games with classmates when we were children.
  • Once folded properly, the message written on the patterned side of the page reads:

    • "REMEMBER WHAT YOU BOTH OWE ME FOR THE CAR CRASH OR I'LL TELL EVERYONE"

Reggie's Letter

  • Reggie broke into Harold Richards' safety-deposit box and sent us the items she found inside.

Text Message Logs

  • All four of our remaining suspects were speaking to an unknown contact and moving their conversations to OffLine.

    • Harold Richards
    • Kim Barton
    • Thomas Ford Cross
    • Lewis Vanzetti

  • At the bottom, Ashley coded a message. It can be discovered by using Ashley's bookmark along with the Harold Richards' bobblehead received in Episode 1.
  • This is a shift cipher using the inscription from the Harold Richards bobblehead as the plaintext and the string of letters from Ashley's bookmark as the encoded text.
  • Once decoded, the message reads:
    • "THE PASSWORD IS SAGUARO."

Ashley's OffLine Portal

  • Password: Saguaro
  • Both of Ashley's contacts' names are encoded.
  • Using the same shift cipher as we used to crack the login password, we can discover that:
    • AKJPQ = LEWIS
    • YNWZZPK = FRANNIE
  • Lewis sent Ashley a photo of TFC, Harold, and him all having drinks together.
    • So TFC and Harold were buds the night of the car crash, which would explain why they were both in the car together that night.
