Ethan's plan of framing you begins here. At this point, Ethan himself conducted an experiment with Mark Cane's latest poison design. After Ethan's experiment, he knew Entropy wasn't yet finished. He decided to hit two birds with one stone and frame you. To conceal the poison, he shot the body and staged it in your apartment. Ethan was at Crimson Creek watching over your investigation, so he knew where to go to plant the body.
