• Use the magazine cut-outs to fill in the missing pieces on the note. The letter from Penny mentions that the pieces can be read "if you put them together the wrong way too".

• The number "four" in the middle of the letter from Penny is spelled like the number. Starting with the out-of-place line about soap, count every fourth word.
• This code reveals the secret message: "use Vernon to help me".

Modeling Sand

• Hidden among the grains of sand is a folded piece of paper - a secret note from Vernon.
• Follow the URL on the note. Use the information provided on the note to gain access to lfoasc.net.
• The password is "hackeysack23".
• Each set of coordinates corresponds to an LFoA facility in the United States, except for the last set of coordinates.
• The coordinates for Facility #09009 pinpoint a location off the coast of Alaska. Alaska was mentioned in the letter from Penny in the first episode.

Note from Patient 7166

• When the magazine cut-outs are used to fill in the blanks on the note, the message spells out "They watch us sleeping but for why we never hear TV on news mute".
• When the magazine cut-outs are rearranged on their own, without the note, the message can be read as "WATCH FOR NUMBERS". This is a hint for another puzzle in this episode.
