Present Day
Nikita: St. Petersburg... I don't even know what to say other than, I was young... and I was rich. Except, I was also a wanted criminal... and technically still am.
Jenna: This should be interesting.
Nikita: During this point in my life, I began to develop some serious financial and business skills... but that was after my brother and I lived quite the fancy life. Looking back at it... it was... foolish.
Jenna: But you were broke for most of your life, it's hard not to live in luxury when you hit the "jackpot" for the first time.
Nikita: Right... and in addition to this, we couldn't stay in one place because people were looking for us. This forced us to move from motel to hotel and so on. And with our money and a fancy hotel, we had issues not over-celebrating.
Jenna: Were you homesick at all?
Nikita: After the storm of hell that struck us in Moscow? No way, I never wanted to go back to Moscow... and quite honestly, I still don't.
Jenna: But, what about your parents... Don't you ever wonder about them? Don't you want to find them?
Nikita: Well, Jenna... That's what is so unbelievably shocking about this story. I discovered my parents and their secret in St. Petersburg... I figured everything out.
Jenna: What!?
Nikita: So, believe it or not... everything in Moscow... happened for a reason. If anything would have been different, I would have never... ever... uncovered the truth about my parents.
Jenna: Why do you say that? You may have found them if you went looking.
Nikita: No... I'm telling you for certain, Jenna, without going down the road I did, I would have never found out anything about my parents. Everything was so carefully concealed from the public.
Jenna: So, what was your parents' secret?
Nikita: We are getting closer and closer to that moment. But I need you to understand how I got there... I need to tell you about everything in St. Petersburg.
Jenna: I'm listening.
Nikita: Moscow only scratched the surface... the story only gets more and more twisted. My life story proves something extremely... interesting.
Jenna: And what is that, Nikita?
Nikita: The only difference between hero and villain, is who is telling the story. St. Petersburg and Moscow converge to create the ultimate example of heroes and villains being no different.
We're moving on to phase two now.
