I think I need to spy on Lukshon again...

 

What is the best move?

The only way I can do this is to conduct more surveillance on Lukshon or Connor Oswald. I've already spied on Connor a lot though, and he's told me a lot of new information... So, I think I only have one option.

I know that Lukshon is a meeting spot for the Triad. If I spy on Lukshon more, I could come across other Triad members that might link me to Rich's disappearance.

I think if I locate Rich, Connor may be in danger. My intuition says that only Dao and Connor know about Rich. If this is true... Connor is a dead man if I come across Rich, unless I can take care of Dao first.

The Triad doesn't know of my existence yet and I can freely spy on them. I also have an informant, Connor Oswald.

*Drive to Lukshon*

 

It's early in the morning, no one is here yet.

Once the day is over, I'll go over my notes.

I should probably take a picture of this place as well.

The time is now 7:00 AM.

The first Asian man arrived, he's opening up the barbershop.

Today isn't Wednesday, so Connor shouldn't be coming.

Surveillance Notes

Currently the time is 8:00 PM, and a few customers went to Lukshon, both of them were dressed in all black and had tattoos covering their arms. I'm not sure if they were "real" customers though. They are likely just Triad members.

I think going inside of Lukshon would be a dangerous venture to say the least. If what I suspect is true, that it's a gang hideout, I have no business setting foot in there. Even conducting surveillance is dangerous.

Only two Asian men came to Lukshon today. Who was that woman that I saw last time? Was she with one of the men? Was she in charge? I'm not sure, but maybe she doesn't come on Tuesdays, because last time I saw her it was Wednesday.

In one hour, the barber shop closes, that's when the interesting stuff happened last time. I saw the boss come to talk briefly with some of his men.

He was wearing a black suit, so I couldn't tell if he had the large scar on his arm. I need to know if I'm dealing with the assassin that Mark told me about.

Yes, one of the men stepped outside to smoke at 12:10 PM. While he was smoking, he was talking to a man that stopped by again at 2:05 PM. He must be part of the Triad, but I'm not sure what this visitor's role is... or the employee's role for that matter.

It's about 8:00 PM now, and one of the Asian men inside of Lukshon kept looking outside the windows. The man was looking for someone or something. He looked outside the window at 7:33 PM, 7:35 PM, 7:40 PM, and 7:55 PM. What is he looking for?

It's been quiet for a little bit now, it's 8:50 PM, almost closing time.

That Asian man is looking outside of the window again...

A truck just pulled up... Is this yet another piece of the puzzle?

The Asian man from Lukshon opened the door and yelled something I couldn't understand.

Why is he angry? Was this guy in the truck supposed to come at 7:30?

Another man exited the truck.

All three of the men took some boxes from the truck and brought them inside Lukshon.

What could have been in those boxes?

I think they were about 2x2x2 feet. The boxes looked heavy, judging by how the men picked them up.

Another car just pulled up...

Two more men are getting out.

It's Mark and Antonio... They are going to Lukshon too? What?

So... the cartel is working with the Triad?

Mark must have lied to me... or at least he didn't tell me about all of this.

Why didn't Mark mention this when I was asking about the Triad?

Nothing is ever as it seems, everyone lies... This is ridiculous.

Antonio just stopped and looked at Mark for a minute.

They're talking about something, but I can't hear them, I'm too far away.

Antonio pulled away and called someone.

Hmm, if only I was close enough to hear what's going on.

This is weird... Antonio is acting strange.

When he ended the call, he just stared at Mark and didn't say anything for a long time...

They've walked into Lukshon.

So now everyone is inside of Lukshon. Why is the Sinaloa meeting the Triad?

Mark and Antonio left Lukshon shortly after, at 9:32 PM.

They drove off into the night... I suppose they must have made a business deal with the Triad?

I'm getting a text from Mark.

He certainly has some explaining to do...

Jonathan, there's been a change of plans. Do not look into the Triad. My boss just told Antonio and I to meet with them... I'm not sure about future plans with the Triad, but for now, don't look into them. Also, don't worry no one knows I am texting you.

This is honestly such a big coincidence... as soon as I ask Mark about the Triad, he is told to meet with them, and then he tells me to call off the investigation? Did Mark lie to me, it doesn't seem like he's hiding things anymore though... I don't know who I can trust...

He was staring at Mark without saying anything... who communicates like this? Something is going on.

I suppose I need to back off, my life could be in danger. If Mark says I shouldn't look into the Triad, I probably shouldn't, but something tells me the Triad is the key to all of this...
